There is no official PM petrol subsidy app. The state chose SMS.
You register on the Fuel Pass by texting 9771. You send four fields: CNIC, plate, province letter, date. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asked for that SMS to be free. You do not install a store listing to join.

Why people search “PM petrol subsidy app”
Spring stories promised a download. September did not keep that public door.
In late March 2026 Dawn reported OGRA and the IT ministry had finalised a mobile-app quota. Citizens would generate a digital voucher. Retailers would scan it. Stations were even told to buy special phones. Cabinet had not locked every litre cap yet.
On 2 April PakWheels tested 9771 and got “Invalid Command.” It said the plan still looked app-first. Those posts still rank. People type PM petrol subsidy app because of them.

How to spot a fake app
A real listing would come from the Ministry of IT or the PMO. Store pages titled PM petrol subsidy app 2026 do not.
Walk away if the app asks for a fee. Walk away if it wants an OTP on WhatsApp. Walk away if it harvests JazzCash or extra CNIC photos. Minister Shaza Fatima said the government will not seek extra personal data and will not charge registration.
